Letter Writing: Formal
1. A friend of yours was involved in a fight that took place in school and has been expelled by the school authorities. In a letter to your Principal, give an account of the fight, and why you think your friend should not have been expelled.
2. Write a letter to the chairman of the Environmental Protection Agency on the effects of illegal feling of trees and suggest ways to remedy the situation.
3. The electricity supply in your school has been irregular. As the Senior Prefect, write a letter to the Chairman of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) telling him about the effect of this on the school and the need to provide a stand-by generator for the school.
4. The Parent-Teacher Association of your school has decided to transform the school into a single-sex school. As the Senior Prefect, write a letter to the Chairman giving, at least, three reasons why you disagree with the decision.
